  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, job title.
  • Center information: Daycare center name, address, capacity, state of licensure, age groups served, current software used.
  • Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications: Emails, strategy call notes, intake questionnaire responses, and support requests.
  • Center content: Brand assets (logo, photos), staff information, and operational details you provide for agent configuration.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on site.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address.
  • Analytics data: Collected via Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Kinwell:

  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. stripe.com/privacy
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — Website analytics. We use anonymized data to understand site usage. Google Privacy Policy
  • Email service provider — For sending onboarding sequences, newsletters, and service notifications.
  • AI providers — We use AI models to power our agent services. Your center's data may be processed by our AI providers to generate content. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data Retention

  • Active subscribers: We retain your data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation.
  • After cancellation: We delete your center information, brand assets, and operational data within 90 days of your subscription ending. We retain basic account information (name, email) and transaction records as required for financial and legal obligations.
  • Content generated: Any content generated by our AI agents and delivered to you belongs to you. We do not retain copies after your subscription ends.

5. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at hello@kinwell.com. Upon receiving your request, we will:

  • Delete your account and center information within 30 days.
  • Remove your data from our AI agent systems.
  • Retain only what is legally required (transaction records, tax documentation).

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Kinwell provides services to childcare center operators, not directly to children or parents of children. We do not collect personal information from children under 13. Our AI agents generate content about childcare operations (daily reports, enrollment materials) but do not collect, store, or process children's personal information.

If you are a center operator using our services, you are responsible for ensuring that any data you share with us about enrolled families complies with applicable privacy laws, including COPPA and your state's privacy requirements.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
  • Secure payment processing through Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant).
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized team members.
  • Regular security reviews of our systems and processes.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you become aware of any unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
